Sales Executive

We are looking for a passionate Sales Executive to rise with us and empower the better you!

The Westin Perth is a luxury retreat perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. A rejuvenating haven with luxury accommodation 5-star amenities and a dynamic City Centre location. We expect this role to commence in the new year.

You will:

  • Handle local corporate social catering and wedding opportunities that come directly to the property.
  • Identify qualify and solicit new catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business including generating proposals writing contracts and customer correspondence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person over the phone and via email.
  • Conduct site inspections
  • Contract and close business and deliver a seamless turnover from sales to event planning while consistently delivering a high level of service.
  • Understand the overall market and competitors strengths and weaknesses and knows how to sell against them.
  • Close the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.
  • Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Maximize revenue through up-selling on packages.
  • Assist with selling implementation and follow-through of catering promotions.

You are / have:

  • Friendly confident vibrant and professional personality
  • Previous experience is desirable and ideally in hotels event sales or events planning.
  • Full Time Australian working rights
  • Excellent Computer and Office 365 knowledge
