Job Summary
This position is for an English Learner Education (ELE) program teacher at Glover School teaching EL students in grades PreK-3. The ELE teacher provides specialized instruction to English learners at all proficiency levels in grades PreK-3 following the district ELE curriculum. The ELE teacher will provide direct instruction to students in the ELE classroom. The ELE teacher also works as a collaborative partner to SEI endorsed academic teachers to support student learning in both general education and special education contexts. The ELE teacher should have experience with research-based strategies or methods of second language development as well as oral language and literacy instruction. This position is to fill a short-term leave of absence (dates to be determined likely starting in late February or early March).
