Reporting directly to the Scotiatrust Team Lead the File Digitization Intern will support Scotiatrusts team by performing various administrative duties and help to facilitate the conversion of paper files to digital form.

The File Digitization Intern will assist with the filing maintenance retention and destruction of records in accordance with specific guidelines. This position is an excellent fit for a current post-secondary student looking to gain experience in a professional office environment.

  • Sorting and scanning paper files
  • Creating digital files
  • Uploading sorting and saving digital documents
  • Shredding and filing
  • Maintaining document security and confidentiality
  • Responding to email inquiries from internal staff
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if:

  • Currently enrolled in Post Secondary education
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in an office environment preferably in the financial services industry is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and high degree of accuracy and quality
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible
