Leveraging the developmental plans of Shanghai New Bund International Business District the new Shangri-La hotel will be an ideal venue for meetings and events plus offer the places for both a relaxed stay and inspirational experiences for locals and travelers alike.
We are looking for Events Planning Executive we rely on you to:
- Responsible for planning organizing and executing banquets and conferences to ensure they proceed smoothly according to the pre-established plans.
- In charge of coordinating and controlling all aspects of banquets and conferences including venues catering audio lighting stage design etc.
- Responsible for summarizing and reviewing after the event collecting customer satisfaction feedback and proposing suggestions for improvement.
- Possess good communication skills and team spirit maintaining good communication and cooperation with various departments and external partners to ensure the smooth progress of events.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for Sales and Marketing.
- Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel.
- Enjoys planning and organizing.
- Experience in an international 5* hotel would be advantageous.
- Is a friendly helpful and trustworthy leader.
- Enjoy interacting with people.
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English and local language due to the needs of servicing international guests.
- Loves to be creative with an eye for detail.
