DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

The Corporate Segment Reporting & Analysis team as part of the Corporate Segment Finance team is responsible for managing analyzing reporting and forecasting the corporate segment financial results to ensure the right governance and challenge is provided. This includes a mandate to improve the transparency and meaningfulness of the results while striving for continuous improvement in analytics and forecasting capabilities. This represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate to understand a wide variety of corporate areas and to develop an understanding of how decisions made in Corporate Segmentimpactsthe financial/management reporting of the Business Segments and Total Bank Reporting.

The team also acts as a Centralized source for consolidated reporting and analytics and strives to increase efficiency in the reporting of the broader Corporate Segment Finance advisory teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Integral role in implementing process improvements (Data driven insights to optimize spend allocation) which will involve collaboration and coordination with teams across the whole TD enterprise

• Modify and maintain model for stress testing segment expenses in the lead up to TBSM stress testing exercise with OSFI MST.

• Build business insight dashboards forCorporateexpenses using data visualization tools for expense analysis segment allocations and performance measurement for the segment.

• Operational excellence: drive improvements in reporting infrastructure to focus on value-added analysis on expenses and treasury performance management.

• Enhance understanding of Corporates performance through support of monthly and quarter-end reporting forecasting and analysis activities and building relationship with segment finance teams.

• Assist in the development of the strategy to manage Bank-wide expenses.

• Work with peers (e.g. EDS) to obtain and then analyze data for expense management purposes.

• Enhance understanding of Corporates performance through enhancements to reporting and analysis processes.

• Assist in improving forecasting accuracy by challenging business partnersontheir assumptions.

• Develop models and tools to enhance understanding of Treasury results.
