Responsibilities:
Prepare documentation related to the formation of corporations partnerships and not-for-profit entities including incorporations name searches organizations amendments continuances amalgamations and dissolutions.
Draft annual resolutions notices and ancillary documents in connection with ongoing corporate maintenance requirements.
Process Canada-wide extra-provincial registrations and licenses.
Maintain and update corporate records and virtual minute books.
Support entity management through various lifecycle events.
Participate in special projects and provide administrative corporate support as required.
What you will need to succeed:
DCS/DEC in Paralegal Technology or equivalent post-secondary diploma in Paralegal Studies.
3 years of experience as a paralegal in corporate law.
Bilingual in English and French to draft corporate documentation communicate with clients and lawyers and manage regulatory filings across Canada in both languages.
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with clients lawyers and team members.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to exercise tact discretion and sound judgment.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Outlook Word and Excel.
