Job Summary
nurses job involves assessing patients administering care (medication vitals treatments) collaborating with doctors updating records and educating patients/families on health focusing on promoting wellness and managing illness in diverse settings like hospitals or clinics often involving shift work and emotional support.
Core Responsibilities
Patient Assessment: Monitor vital signs record symptoms collect medical history and assess health conditions.
Care Delivery: Administer medications IVs treatments and provide direct care.
Collaboration: Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Patient Education: Advise patients and families on conditions treatments and preventative care.
Emotional Support: Provide comfort and psychological support to patients and relatives.
Key Duties
Perform physical exams and diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement care plans.
Manage workloads and organize tasks.
Supervise junior staff (LPNs aides).
Prepare and maintain medical equipment.

Required Skills:
Must be a high school graduate. Further training in child care and development from some registered institution (eg. ACNS ). Proven child care experience with references. First Aid and CPR certification. Safety certification. A valid driving license and a safe driving record.
