DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Account objectives & forecast:
Participate in setting detailed quantified objectives and developing detailed plans
(including new opportunities) - Execution: account & relationship management:
Accomplish measures and report performance against assigned objectives of targeted accounts.
Perform account management duties including (but not limited to) negotiating short term and long
term contracts administering sales contracts and ensuring terms and conditions are adhered
to resolution and communication of customer complaints (in coordination with Customer Service)
Identify growth/ profitability improvement opportunities (using CRM opportunity management
functionality) and advance the relationships with customers in order to fully capture them.
Introduce new products and new solutions to the customers.
Apply the pricing policy vis- a-vis the assigned accounts. - Sales forecast:
Develop accurate forecasts of current and prospective customers. - Customer intimacy and needs understanding:
Establish and nurture relationships with assigned customers (management purchasing R&D)
Understand customers needs (incl. Technical) test potential ideas and solutions and collaborate
with Technical Service to better serve customers.
Gather valuable information about the market and competitors from customers and convey all
necessary where appropriate.
Collect and document (via CRM) customer knowledge and gather customer needs and feedback
(incl. visit and call reports)
Ensure link and communication to other functions (Marketing Technical Service Customer Service
R&D operations) and collaborate with other functions on topics related to the customer when
relevant.
Requirements:
- Essential:
Science with minimum 5years
experience in handling sales functions.
Knowledge of steel and refractory industries.
Knowledge of Manufacturing process Refractory products and application of products. - Preferred:
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.
Management Skills:
Effective negotiation skills.
Project management skills.
Effective communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible.
Highly motivated results oriented and driven.
Capable of handling multiple priorities.
