Your Role
As an Industrial Electrical Drafter you will:
Prepare plans for various electrical works in the industrial sector;
Research and pre-select electrical components;
Bring innovative ideas to improve techniques and work quality;
Coordinate all plans with other disciplines and offices as the responsible drafter;
Provide technical support to project managers technicians and engineers;
Validate compliance of plans and specifications with guidelines standards and codes;
Adhere to rules and procedures that ensure employee health and safety environmental protection and incident prevention. Additionally in a continuous improvement mindset be proactive in enhancing health safety and environmental procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.
About You
Hold a vocational diploma in industrial drafting or equivalent training and/or experience;
Have 10 years of relevant experience in industrial drafting;
Be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software;
Knowledge of Plant3D software (an asset);
Experience in multidisciplinary projects;
Familiarity with Inventor or SolidWorks functionalities is an asset;
Knowledge of industrial environments mining and water treatment is an asset;
Enjoy teamwork and communicate effectively.
