Mechanical Engineering
To contribute to the mechanical design and development activities related to test tools jigs and electromechanical packaging.
- Responsible for design development activities generation of associated manufacturing definition files and release in the configuration management tool
- Performs design analysis and simulation to address functional aspects Stability of mechanical systems manufacturability testability and maintainability
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Understands the needs of the customer and formalize the function description architectural design and requirements.
- Perform concept review and design review (PDR CDR)
- Identifies the key BOM and compliance to ROHS & REACH standards.
- Contributes to the hardware architectural design
- Performs CAD activities (Mechanical CAD) for wiring harness racks/cabinets design.
- Analytical calculations and analysis for justification of requirement
- Participates in the integration activities and verification phases
- Contributes to the production data pack generation and release dossier to Manufacturer.
- Ensures the Configuration Management of the HW design elements in repository.
- Contributes to the Change Management of the Hardware Solution.
- Contributes to co-engineering activities with the hardware IVVQ and Systems Engineering team.
Skills Required
- Engineering graduate / master Mechanical technology and are proficient with Engineering Mechanics strength of materials & mechanical design concepts.
- Must have rich experience in creating 3D models and 2D drawings and specifications for mechanical assemblies sub-assemblies and components machining parts fabrication including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) based on ISO Standard.
- Structural analysis (static modal analysis shocks vibrations) Mechanical tests correlation Design optimization Strength analysis
- Must have experience with contents of Product Data Package (Bill of Material or Item List Item Documents components COTS Find Number Material & Processes Item configuration management etc.)
- Should be able to generate sheet metal and machined product CAD models (Part & Assembly).
- Tools: Expertise in Catia Solidworks & Creo.
- Knowledge Smarteam FEA concepts & tools such Ansys Mechanical DS Abaqus DS Dymola MSC Nastran are good to have.
- CAD Model Drawings Bill of Materials Data Management
Engineering Fundamentals:

- Should have hands on experience in computational analysis and simulation to address functional aspects stability of mechanical systems
