Position Overview
This Occupational Therapist position supports a regional hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation program. The role primarily focuses on:
Outpatient orthopedics
Neurological conditions
Acute care (30% of caseload)
Hand therapy support is included but represents a smaller portion of responsibilities compared to ortho and acute care.
The OT will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary rehab team including 7 Physical Therapists and 1 Speech-Language Pathologist.
Requirements
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Certifications:
BLS
State OT License (pending license accepted)
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Locals Accepted: Yes
Floating: Will float within scope as needed to meet facility demands
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
Scheduling & Guarantee
Guaranteed Hours:
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty or obligation to pay for canceled hours
On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours
