We are excited to recruit for this pivotal User Experience Design Specialist role to ensure the design and evolution of Harris platform across web mobile and new AI-powered experiences. You will serve as a hands-on design execution specialist and a trusted collaborator for product and engineering teams playing a key role in translating complex workflows and AI-driven logic into intuitive user experiences.
What Youll Be Doing
As a User Experience Design Specialist you will be responsible for the UI/UX design of Harris platform experiences creating clean intuitive and scalable interfaces. Your responsibilities will include:
- Platform Execution: Contributing to UI/UX design for web and mobile (TeamLive HarriLive TeamHub).
- Standardization: Supporting the implementation of consistent navigation and interaction patterns across roles and device types.
- AI Innovation: Helping translate AI-driven logic into user-friendly screens and designing for new Agentic UI patterns like conversational UX and adaptive UI.
- Design System Growth: Collaborating in maintaining and expanding Harris design system component library and standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Product Managers Engineers and AI/Data teams to bring designs from concept to delivery.
- Research & Insights: Supporting usability testing and utilizing heatmaps and analytics to inform design improvements.

We are looking for an individual who is customer-centric and grounded in real-world workflows with a proven track record of delivering high-quality UI/UX designs consistently across multiple product modules. You will be passionate about delivering successful outcomes and possess:
- Design Expertise: Demonstrated ability to produce reusable components specifications and documentation that enable multi-product consistency.
- Technical Skills: Experience with discovery and prototyping of mobile-first and AI-powered interaction models.
- Communication: Ability to participate effectively in design reviews feedback sessions and UI/UX refinement cycles.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong attention to detail with the ability to utilize user behavior data to propose experience enhancements.
- Collaboration: Experience working in a cross-functional team-based globally distributed environment.
- Inclusivity: A commitment to ensuring accessibility and inclusiveness across platform experiences.

- Location: This role is based in NYC.
- Salary: The salary range for this position is $130000 - $200000 USD depending on experience.
- Reporting: This role reports directly to the Director of Platform UI/UX
