Tekberry is seeking a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer with strong expertise in PowerPoint to support faculty at the our Graduate School of Business a world-class academic this role you will collaborate directly with faculty to develop course materials and academic presentations that clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts.
This position requires the ability to translate advanced academic content-including data-heavy frameworks equations charts and conceptual models-into visually compelling designs that enhance student understanding. At least 50% of the role will focus on PowerPoint with additional use of Photoshop Illustrator InDesign and Google Slides as needed. All work is performed on a Windows PC.
The ideal candidate is conceptually strong detail-oriented adaptable and comfortable managing multiple projects while working closely with faculty project managers and design team members.

Responsibilities
Design & Creative Execution
- Under general creative direction manage projects from initial client contact through final delivery.
- Translate complex academic information and frameworks into clear graphic and illustrative representations that enhance learning and comprehension.
- Create artwork and layouts for digital presentations and academic materials beginning from an initial concept and considering broader visual solutions.
- Design and edit advanced charts graphs and data visualizations to support academic instruction.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with faculty project managers and design team members to complete projects according to established specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with multiple clients to develop themes and visual designs that meet instructional and communication goals.
- May provide guidance or informal support to other staff or contractors as needed.
Quality Control & Production
- Maintain quality control standards across all deliverables ensuring accuracy consistency and adherence to production requirements.
- Inspect proofs for accuracy layout integrity and compliance with design standards.
- Support design strategy and execution across multiple projects and platforms.
Tools Technology & Continuous Improvement
- Use job-required software applications and mediums including PowerPoint Google Slides Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign to produce materials aligned with defined requirements.
- Maintain awareness of industry standards trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design services.
Must-Have Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of graphic design principles.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and working knowledge of Google Slides.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign.
- Proven ability to create and edit advanced charts graphs and visual data representations.
- Ability to conceptualize designs from an initial idea and think in terms of broad cohesive solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to present a portfolio that reflects strong creative and conceptual work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing academic instructional or research-focused materials.
- Experience working directly with faculty educators or subject-matter experts.
- Familiarity with browser usability and cross-platform compatibility considerations.
- Strong understanding of design for understanding principles in educational settings.
Physical Requirements
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently stand/walk perform fine manipulation grasp forcefully and reach or work above shoulder level.
- Occasionally sit twist bend stoop or squat.
- Visual acuity including color vision required.
