Position Overview
This Occupational Therapist position supports a regional hospital-based rehabilitation program. The role includes treating a diverse patient population across:
Outpatient orthopedics
Neurological rehabilitation
Acute care (30% of caseload)
The position also provides limited hand therapy support secondary to orthopedic and acute care responsibilities.
The OT will collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team consisting of 7 Physical Therapists and 1 Speech-Language Pathologist.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
Certifications:
BLS
State OT License (pending license accepted)
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Locals Accepted: Yes
Floating: Will float within scope as needed
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
Scheduling & Guarantee
Guaranteed Hours Policy:
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment without penalty or obligation to pay for canceled hours
On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours
