Job Summary

Assistant Chief Engineer SCADA shall support in providing independent

technical consultancy services related to SCADA architecture system design

review integration cybersecurity testing and compliance for Power Renewable

Energy and Industrial projects

Prepare & Review:

Prepare and Review SCADA system Architecture including devices

communication networks control room hardwares and software

Evaluate redundancy scalability reliability and fail-safe design

Prepare and Review of SCADA SLD network topology and system block

diagrams

Verify compliance requirements with project requirement and

specifications

Technical Compliance:

Familiar with integration of SCADA with PLC/RTU BMS EMS PPC and

validate use of protocols as per IEC 61850 IEC 60870-5.

Review of data acquisition logic tagging philosophy and pooling rates

Prepare and review SCADA functional design specification control

philosophy and sequence of operation

Validate compliance with ISA-101/ISA-18.2 alarm management

Review of SCADA cybersecurity architecture including Network

segregation and firewalls User access control and role-based

permissions

Validate compliance with IEC 62443/NERC identify cyber risk and

mitigation measures

Review data integrity backup and disaster recovery strategies

Collaboration and Support:

Work as Lead engineer project manager and guide other team

members to resolve design issues and implement solutions

Provide technical information and ideas to support the engineering

team.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of design changes and follow document

control procedures.

Prepare and assemble comprehensive documentation packages.

Quality Assurance:

Check technical drafts for accuracy in calculations measurements and

units.

Perform quality checks on drawings for function fit and submission.

Proficiency in SCADA systems and architectures.

Industrial communication protocols control systems and data

acquisition.

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.

Familiarity with Network design and cybersecurity principles.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and

stakeholders.

Job Location: Office-based in India (with flexibility across major metro cities/Project hubs

Requirements

Qualification: Masters or Bachelors in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering

Experience (Minimum): Minimum 10 years of experience in SCADA

Software Knowledge: AutoCAD ETAP PLS CAD PSE MS Office

Certifications in SCADA or Industrial Cybersecurity preferred

Required Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD PVcase). Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and sketches. Familiarity with electrical systems and their components. Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders Job Location: Office-based in India (with flexibility across major metro cities/Project hubs) Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering Experience (Minimum): Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting preferably in Renewable energy (preferably BESS) and Power projects Software Knowledge: AutoCAD & PVCase E3D MS Office (Excel Word) GIS software (Optional)
