Job Summary

Job Description:

  • The advisor works with (A)-TVETs to update the curriculum and incorporate PURE solutions and technologies. The expert will ensure that practical training facilities are upgraded to include PURE technologies together with MoLS develop relevant PURE short courses to be given at the (A)-TVETs and focus on students who will be trained in providing after sales services to users of PURE technologies.
  • A study to identify the gaps between PURE solution providers and current levels of TVETs offering technical trainings will lay the foundation of the short courses which will be developed in collaboration with MoLS.
  • Ensure that developed course materials have GESI components and intentionally target women and youth.
  • Develop and track KPIs related to track graduated students and identify where they end up.
  • Collaborate with the LEARNING team/MEL team to track progress measure impact and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Contribute to regular reporting and communication of project outcomes to donors and stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications: 

  •  Bachelors Degree in knowledge management vocational training or a related field.A Masters degree will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge on vocational training in Ethiopia and understanding the process of developing short courses in collaboration with MoLS.
  • A proven track record of developing practical focussed course materials preferable in horticulture and PURE
  • At least 5 years proven experience of working with MoLS and (A)-TVETs in developing course curricula.
  • Strong skills in facilitating learning processes producing knowledge products and leading course material development activities.
  • Excellent negotiation and diplomatic skills.
  • Excellent writing communication facilitation and analytical skills.
  • Experience in working in international and national organisations (public and private) 
  • Fluency in English is required

This position is contingent upon funding approval.

Expected start date: February 2026

Duty Station: Addis Ababa Ethiopia

Contract Duration: One Year with the possibility of extension based on performance.
