We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Executive to join our EMEA Sales team. Reports to: Key Account Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Inside Sales across EMEA territories and supporting our Sales team across Commercial Academic Government and Home markets.
- Executing on call/email plan to ensure all leads and potential customers receive intelligent and action-orientated next steps
- Using the CRM software real-time to drive sales activity planning and productivity - updating all CRM records as required.
- Maintaining Sugar CRM pipeline of opportunities and closing sales as well as providing reporting information to sales management.
- Updating leads opportunities and all other customer contacts within CRM software in a timely manner.
- Preparing and sending quotes pro-forma invoices and site contracts; ensuring relevant internal paperwork and reporting is maintained in accordance with company quality management requirements.
- Pulling reports from CRM database to determine order levels sales figures service renewals and site license statistics.
- Researching of contacts for sales initiatives campaigns and mailings assisting in planning and executing those campaigns and carrying out lead follow up including calling customers.
- Reviewing tender portals and social media to identify sales opportunities.
- Working closely with sales team to ensure business objectives and growth are actively achieved.
- Working with the marketing team to assist in organising meetings and events liaising with customers to co-ordinate roadshows workshops and webinars.
Required/ideal skills:
- Previous experience in customer facing sales and administration roles is essential.
- Ability to thoroughly research existing and potential clients to identify opportunities and potential growth.
- Target orientated and capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines often on multiple projects.
- Excellent interpersonal analytical presentation verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic ability to network decision-making problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable approach open-minded and positive attitude with a good team ethic.
- A high level of numeracy and attention to detail will be required.
- Good working knowledge of M/S Office CRM systems and databases and an aptitude to learn new systems.
- Educated to degree level in a technical subject would be an advantage E.g. maths physics engineering computer science or related technical or quantitative field
