What we are hiring for:
We are currently hiring a contract full-time Support Lead for a variety of our support locations in Lambton County Ontario.
Support Leads make a difference in peoples lives by mentoring and acting as a role model for their teams through the utilization of experience and a strong working knowledge of LCDS policies and procedures. Support Leads are responsible for developing program specific procedures and ensuring all team members are trained in coordination with their manager and the team.
What you will need:
- Minimum 2-year post-secondary diploma or 3-year degree in social or health sciences (ie: DSW SSW CYW B.A. in Psychology Social Work or DSW Apprenticeship Certificate/Developmental Disabilities Certificate) with 2000 hours experience with LCDS (not including night attendant hours)
- 3-5 years of full-time experience as a Direct Support Coordinator
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office
- Key Core Competencies: Building Relationships Problem Solving & Decision Making Facilitating Growth & Development and Resilience
Compensation and scheduling:
- $31.53 - 32.15 per hour based on experience
- Contract Full-time: 40 hours per week including days afternoons weekends or nights
