Job Summary
The Quick Lane Automotive Service Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality efficient service while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates are dependable detail-oriented and eager to grow within the automotive service industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and top off as needed (oil coolant brake transmission washer fluid)
- Rotate and balance tires as required
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings
- Replace basic wear items such as air filters cabin filters wiper blades and light bulbs
- Identify and communicate additional maintenance needs to service advisors
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Use shop equipment and tools properly and safely
- Deliver timely service while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge or automotive experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
- Prior lube technician or automotive service experience
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and advance in automotive service
