What youll be doing

As a Technology Analyst for the Vulnerability Management Team you will help maintain and enhance CIBCs end-user technology security posture by assessing and coordinating remediation of vulnerabilities across enterprise endpoints. You will analyze data monitor compliance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing process improvements and ensure timely resolution of issues. Your work will contribute to protecting CIBCs technology assets and minimizing risk.

How Youll Succeed

  • Analyze and Assess Vulnerabilities: Review data from security tools to identify assess and prioritize vulnerabilities ensuring timely and effective resolution. Ensure vulnerabilities are prioritized and addressed within established timelines and service level agreements.
  • Support Patch Management: Coordinate and track the deployment of operating system and application updates ensuring compliance with internal standards and timelines.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work with technical teams desktop support and management to facilitate remediation activities and escalate issues as needed. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and meaningful way to stakeholders at all levels. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to support remediation efforts and process improvements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records generate regular reports and support governance and compliance processes. Adhere to established protocols and documentation standards to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Drive Process Improvement: Contribute to automation optimization and training initiatives to enhance vulnerability management and patching practices. Use your critical thinking skills to assess complex data identify trends and inform decision-making. Support the adoption of best practices automation and process optimization within vulnerability management.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate 1 years of experience in. data analysis documentation and reporting. You have strong knowledge of information security and vulnerability management. Its an asset if you have experience with enterprise patch management tools (such as SCCM). You have your CISSP or a similar security-related designation.
  • You have a degree/diploma in. Computer Science Information Technology or a related field and at least 1 years of experience in information security or a similar role.
  • You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems making sense of information and clearly communicating your findings.
  • You know that details matter. You notice things that others dont and your critical thinking drives your decision making.
