Job description:
- Must have previous long-term care/senior living experience.
- Supports and delivers the highest level of nutrition care to residents to meet the customers overall needs.
- Calculate nutritional needs establish goals and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status.
- Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes
- Comply with regulatory standards both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality HIPPA regulations policies and CMS regulations
- Collaborate with IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) to provide quality nutrition and culinary program
- Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies
- Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen
- Implement Health & Wellness initiatives
Qualifications :
- Strong leadership and communication skills to encourage changes in nursing and kitchen management.
- 1-3 years of long-term care and Registered Dietitian experience.
- Basic Functional experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
- Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree
