Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker / Assembler to join one of our clients in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinet making and possess a strong attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble wooden cabinets according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints for cabinet design and installation
- Install cabinets ensuring proper alignment and functionality
- Plumb cabinets for proper installation
- Restore or repair existing cabinets as needed
- Caulk joints to ensure a seamless finish
- Estimate construction materials needed for projects
- Lay tiles as part of cabinet installations
- Basic electrical work related to cabinet installations
Requirements
Experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools specific to cabinet making
- Experience in blueprint reading for cabinet design and installation
- Ability to plumb cabinets accurately during installations
- Knowledge of cabinet restoration techniques
- Skill in caulking joints for a professional finish
- Familiarity with construction estimating for material planning
- Experience in tile laying as part of cabinet installations
