Job Summary

Our client is a leading company in the engineering procurement fabrication and modularization industry specializing in large-scale projects for oil & gas petrochemical mining and power plant sectors. With over 30 years of experience and one of the largest fabrication facilities in Thailand the company delivers high-quality structural steel industrial modules and pressure vessel components for both domestic and international clients.

Position Title: Mechatronic Engineer

Location: Rayong Thailand

Responsibilities:

Perform machine maintenance according to Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) plans.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery during breakdowns ensuring equipment is safely restored to operation as quickly as possible.
Carry out hands-on maintenance and repair of steel processing machinery such as cutting machines coping machines and other steel cutting-related equipment.
Manage and control spare parts and critical spare parts ensuring adequate stock levels while optimizing maintenance costs.
Record and update maintenance activities in maintenance systems (Log Book or Maintenance Sheets) according to company requirements.
Strictly comply with Work Instructions (WI) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and EHS standards before and during maintenance work.
Coordinate with Production and related departments to ensure machine readiness before start-up after maintenance.
Analyze breakdown and downtime root causes and propose corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring issues.
Participate in internal audits and improvement activities related to EHS 5S and equipment safety standards.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with steel cuttingrelated machinery such as cutting machines coping machines and other similar steel processing equipment
Strong knowledge of machine functionality enabling to support machine repair troubleshooting and potential efficiency improvement
Intermediate English communication skills (speaking and writing) are required
Ability to communicate in Japanese or Korean would be a strong advantage
Educational background: Graduates with a major in Mechatronic Engineering are preferred
