Position : Ecommerce Coordinator
Working Schedule : 9am-5pm PST
Salary Range :$1500-$2000 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidates level of experience and at the discretion of the client)
Role Overview
The E-Commerce Coordinator will own daily operations content updates inventory synchronization customer service escalations promotions and basic performance reporting across our Shopify and E-commerce stores and Amazon Seller Central. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with 25 years of e-commerce experience who loves pets and thrives in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify and E-Com Management
- Maintain and update product listings (titles descriptions images variants metafields pricing)
- Upload and optimize new products/collections using best SEO practices
- Manage inventory levels and sync with 3PL/warehouse via apps (e.g. Jazz Red Stag Business Central or similar as onboard)
- Create and schedule promotions discount codes bundles and flash sales
- Build and update landing pages banners and homepage content (no coding required; experience with Shopify PageFly and Figma navigation is a plus)
- Set up and manage upsells/cross-sells (using UpSell apps such as or similar to ReConvert Bold Upsell etc.)
- Monitor site performance and flag issues (broken links slow load times checkout problems reviews behavioral triggers and opportunities)
- Establish and monitor subscription bundle and single unit offerings for accuracy and timely cadence updates (using apps such as ReCharge)
- Work closely with the team to support an affiliate program.
Amazon Management (Seller Central & Vendor Central)
- Create and optimize new ASINs (titles bullet points A Content Enhanced Brand Content Storefront)
- Manage inventory feeds and prevent stock-outs or overstock situations
- Monitor and improve product ratings/reviews (request reviews via Amazon tools respond to negative feedback)
- Run PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products Sponsored Brands DSP) or work closely with agency/team lead
- Price monitoring and repricing strategy execution
- Handle case logs A-Z claims chargebacks and account health metrics
- Submit deals (Lightning Deals Prime Exclusive Discounts Coupons)
Customer Service & Operations
- Act as second-tier support: handle escalated customer inquiries from Shopify and Amazon
- Process returns refunds replacements and warranty claims
- Coordinate with warehouse/3PL on fulfillment issues and shipping delays
- Track and measure warehouse/3PL costs for service packaging and freight expenses to optimize costs
Analytics & Reporting
- Pull and maintain weekly/monthly reports (sales conversion rate AOV top products traffic sources PPC performance)
- Track KPIs and flag opportunities or issues to management
- Help prepare data for monthly business reviews
Other
- Manage subscription program (using Recharge Bold or native Shopify Subscriptions)
- Coordinate photoshoots and asset creation with the creative team
- Stay on top of Shopify and Amazon policy changes that affect the business
- Support influencer/gifting campaigns and affiliate program (as needed)
Requirements
- 35 years of hands-on experience managing Shopify and Amazon Seller Central accounts
- Strong understanding of Shopify backend and Amazon listing optimization/SEO best practices
- Comfortable with basic Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP pivot tables)
- Basic knowledge of Amazon PPC (Sponsored Ads)
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent written communication (customer-facing copy and internal updates)
- Passion for dogs and familiarity with the dog industry is a big plus
- Ability to work U.S. hours
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Helium 10 Jungle Scout or similar Amazon tools
- Basic graphic design skills (Figma Canva or Photoshop for quick image edits)
- Previous work at a DTC or pet brand
- Familiarity with Klaviyo or email/SMS marketing
