About the Role

Toimprovetheoutcomesandlifechancesofchildrenyoungpeopleandtheir families in Leicestershire by:

  • Helping families to identify their own networks of support from family friends and their local communities to ensure they have the help they need to remain resilient and can sustain positive change
  • Delivering time-limited periods of support which may include casework evidence-based group workor clinic sessionstochildrenyoungpeopleandfamilies experiencing a range of issues which impact on family functioning and achievement of good outcomes

Supportingfamiliestoaccessuniversalprovisionandbecomemoreself-sufficient to avoid the need for more intensive input

About You

To apply for this post you must:

  • To plan and deliver a variety of evidence-based targeted group work to parents with childrenaged0-19
  • Toevidencethe achievement of outcomes through robust data recording on group work interventions
  • To be proficient at leading the delivery of programmes from a range of venues across the county and online
  • To have extensive knowledge of Triple P or be able to demonstrate experience of delivering similar evidence-based interventions.
  • To be able to identify emerging needs and utilise your multi agency skills to help families find the right help
  • Toundertake practice development sessions to ensure latest information and guidance fromevidence-basedproviders is followed as appropriate
  • To ensure services are delivered in accordance with the needs of all families who engage in our group work programme ensuring equity and accessibility.

You must also have an understanding of and commitment toequality diversity and inclusion.

In addition we also expect you to shareour commitment to our valuesand will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
