Post-DoctoralResearchFellow (Sleep and Mental Health Research) ()
Project Introduction:
The School of Chinese Medicine at HKBU is dedicated to advance sleep and mental health research. Ourresearch focuses on developing and evaluating the efficacy of various novel interventions for the treatment of sleep and mental disorders drawing on traditional Chinese medicine (e.g. Chinese herbal medicine & acupuncture) exercise science (e.g. Tai Chi) and psychotherapy (e.g. CBT-I).Our work has led to multiple publications in top-tier journals including the BMJ the Lancet Child & Adolescent Health British Journal of Sports Medicine and more.

Manage clinical trial datasets and conduct data analysis;Draft manuscript as lead author and support grant proposal preparation;Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines for human participant research; andPerform any other duties as assigned.Requirements:
- APh.D. degreein Chinese medicine psychology public health nursing or a related field;
- Experience inclinical research involving human participants is required;
- Strongorganisational and time-managementskills with the ability to multitasking;
- Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal;
- Detail-oriented ensuring precision and quality in all tasks; and
- Ability to workindependently and collaborativelywithin a research team.
The initial appointment will be on aone-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
