Job Summary
As a Before and After school teacher at Prime Time Childrens Center youll help care for children before they get on the bus in the morning and then again after school when they return and on all public school closing days. Youll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social emotional cognitive creative and physical development of each child.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe comforting and stimulating environment
- Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing & accreditation standards
- Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding fast-paced environment
- Document learning experience through displays observations and assessments
- Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
- Plans games and engages in activities with school age children
Qualifications
- Must be flexible motivated love children and eager to learn
- Must enjoy being outside
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Energetic nurturing positive child-friendly personality
- Shows initiative; strong work ethic
- 45 hour course in Curriculum/ 45 hour course in Child Development/ 45 hour School Age course preferred but not necessary
The Association for Early Learning Leaders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving directors owners and administrators of early care and education programs since 1984. Our goal is to strengthen the knowledge skills and abilities of directors owners emerging leaders and other early learning professionals to ensure quality programs for young children.
