1The Petroleum Engineer will optimize oil and gas production and perform reservoir management for Thailand BU fields. This position will report to the PE Team Lead.Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Ltd is accepting online applications for the position of Petroleum Engineer located inBangkok Thailand through January 9 2026 (11:59 PM Thailand Time).
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Perform day-to-day well surveillance analysis and optimization (SA&O) including remote compressor and PWRI to maximize production within facility limits
Generate and review required well work request (WWR) for well intervention including well integrity related
Work closely with multi-discipline teams to continuously develop new/infill drilling projects to maintain well deliverability to meet production targets
Participate and work on the annual reserves update as per the CRS process. Perform P1D reserves evaluation
Manage well/asset integrity issues
Actively participate in weekly optimization meetings initial completion review (ICR) and integrated platform review (IPR) meetings
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
Experience in production engineering and operations (well surveillance analysis and optimization); Performance monitoring/improvement
Experience in reservoir engineering concepts and processes; including volumetric determination; rock and fluid properties; reserves estimation and asset/field development plan
Teamwork: Able to work as a team and cross-functional to achieve common shared goals. Able to work and align team direction to meet business objectives and exhibit good behaviors when dealing with others
Communication: Able to clearly communicate and articulate ideas and/or project results to internal/external stakeholders
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
