Job Description:
The Business Relationship Management Practitioner Lead provides advice and guidance on business relationship management best practices and focuses on leading the efforts of Algonquin College clients technology stacks and business capability strategic roadmaps IT product lifecycle management including creating implementing maintaining and decommissioning corporate products. The incumbent is responsible for providing the services required to design develop maintain support govern and evolve the enterprise technology ecosystem for Algonquin College leading the analysis. The incumbent is also responsible for providing expert advice to Business Partners to stimulate surface and shape demands for products and services to ensure potential business value is captured realized optimized and recognized.
The Business Relationship Management Practitioner Lead is also responsible for providing expert advice to colleagues in Information Technology Services (ITS) to ensure alignment across the business environment strategy and technology investment. as part of existing enterprise architecture as well as the research and evaluation of new technologies and standards.
The incumbent will use industry best practices to design relationship value mapping in conjunction with diagnosing relationship quality and improvement planning techniques as part of the strategic relationship management process.
This position should leverage current Enterprise Business Platforms which includes but not limited to SharePoint Salesforce Student Information Systems Cloud solutions strategy and integrations strategy to align IT strategies and imperatives.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum four (4) year diploma/degree in Computer Science/Systems/Engineering/Information Systems or Business Administration with a Computer Major;
Preferred Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) or TOGAF or BRMP certificates;
Combination of at least eight (8) years experience in IT business analyst BRMP data analyst and / or project manager;
Must have experience in in producing strategic roadmaps;
Must have experience in product lifecycle management including introducing maintaining and decommissioning IT products;
Must have experience designing solutions with real-time integration;
Must have understanding of best practices and design trade-offs with the ability to communicate design choices;
Must have experience in proposing and introducing a wide range of enterprise applications and technologies;
Must have experience in analyzing partner business requirements;
Must have experience in proposing technology solutions meeting internal and external Client requirements;
Participation in knowledge sharing and mentorship;
Must have proven success with projects involving the skills and technologies above with a portfolio of references to demonstrate the work;
Experience working with Broader Public Service Sector Procurement Process an asset.
Must have knowledge of BRMP framework competencies and methodologies;
Strong communication skills in writing speaking and presenting;
Ability to listen build rapport and develop credibility as a strategic partner;
Master of relationship building and team collaboration;
Skilled and experienced at conflict negotiation and problem-solving;
