Those in cloud operations at PwC will focus on managing and optimising cloud infrastructure and services to enable seamless operations and high availability for clients. You will be responsible for monitoring troubleshooting and implementing industry leading practices for cloud-based systems.

Deep hands-on experience with at least one enterprise backup platform (Veeam Commvault NetBackup Rubrik Cohesity).

Strong understanding of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) VMware/Hyper-V virtualization and replication mechanisms.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and cloud-native backup/DR solutions.

Strong command of scripting for automation (PowerShell Python).

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals related to DR (DNS routing firewall rules).

Experience with IT monitoring logging and alerting tools.

Develop maintain and enhance DR frameworks for mission-critical applications and infrastructure.

Design failover/failback strategies across data centers or cloud environments.

Lead DR drills and simulation exercises with cross-functional teams.

Document DR gaps mitigation plans and readiness reports for audits and stakeholders.

Work with cloud DR services (AWS CloudEndure Azure Site Recovery GCP DR tools).

Maintain a resiliency risk register: identify single points of failure control gaps thirdparty/SaaS backup risks and remediation plans.

Define and monitor resiliency KPIs/SLAs/OLAs; produce dashboards and executive reporting on backup success restore validation DR readiness and control effectiveness.

Support audits and compliance (e.g. SOX/ITGC ISO 27001 NIST CSF): provide evidence perform control testing (encryption retention offsite copies) and ensure leastprivilege access reviews.

Contribute to and refresh BIAs RTO/RPO targets and policy standards; participate in vendor assessments and contract reviews for resiliency requirements.
