JOB TITLE: Composite Fabrication Specialists
LOCATION: Salt Lake City UT
PAY RATE: $29/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

Summary:

• Perform composite lay-up fabrication and assembly tasks

• Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components

• Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products

• Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation

• Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements

• Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and specifications

Requirements:

• Education and experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma or GED)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

• Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime as needed

• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing bending kneeling and lifting

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs

Preferred Skills:

• 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3 months of experience in aerospace fabrication or manufacturing

• Experience working with safety quality and manufacturing performance metrics

• Familiarity with Lean principles including Continuous Improvement Standard Work and 5S
