Allied Reliability is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead commercial activities across the USA and Canada within the Surface Treatment Division of a Specialty Chemicals operation.
As a key player in the Americas team you will be responsible for driving revenue growth identifying new opportunities and developing strategic partnerships in key market segments such as CASE Technical Textiles Packaging/Blister and Paper/Barrier Coatings.
Position Details:
- Main focus on resins (Polyurethane Dispersions and Acrylic Dispersions) additives (mainly Rheology Modifiers Dispersing Agents Polymeric Matting Agents like PU Beads and PMMA Beads).
- Explore Identify and develop new market opportunities with the support of Product Managers & application support laboratories.
- Lead commercial development across the region in alignment with the Director of Surface Treatment and the Regional Manager.
- Define and execute pricing and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage and expand key customer relationships through tailored account plans.
- Define and implement the level of technical service support required for business development activities.
- Support strategic growth initiatives by working cross-functionally with product managers technical labs and marketing teams.
- Monitor KPIs and participating in regular business reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow revenues and profitability in the Surface Treatment business.
- Identify new market opportunities and oversee business development plans.
- Maintain strong alignment with the overall business strategy and regional goals.
- Represent the company in the market as a thought leader and solution provider.
- Lead technical-commercial discussions with clients ensuring value proposition delivery.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define appropriate levels of customer support.
Qualifications:
- 58 years of sales experience in Paints Coatings Adhesives or Packaging industries.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Business Administration or Marketing.
- Proven track record in strategic sales business development and market analysis.
- Experience in working with polyurethane and acrylic dispersions rheology modifiers dispersing agents and polymeric matting agents (PU/PMMA beads).
- Willingness to travel across the USA and Canada to engage directly with clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
