Job Purpose:
Person will be responsible for establishing implementing and monitoring the companys compliance framework to ensure adherence to all applicable laws regulations internal policies and industry standards. The role will focus on ensuring regulatory compliance across all manufacturing units particularly with respect to environmental secretarial safety legal corporate HR and statutory requirements relevant to the chemical manufacturing industry.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Compliance under The Insecticides Act 1968
Co-ordination with the concerned stake holders of CIB&RC PPQ under Ministry of Agriculture
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable Central and State laws as per Insecticide Act 1968 for the Manufacturing plants located in Rajasthan Gujarat and Goa and Head Office in Gurgaon.
Ensure that all insecticides manufactured by the company are registered with the Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee under the Insecticides Act 1968.
Maintain valid product registration certificates for all formulations and technical products.
Manage applications for new product registrations amendments and renewals.
Timely renewal of Product Registrations from CIB&RC
Timely renewals of State Licenses Sale Stock & Exhibit License
Timely submission of monthly compliance reports to the Agriculture Department
Raw material Import applications and approval through CIB&RC (Crop Portal) Compliance Responsibilities Ozone Depleting Substance (ODS) Reporting
Co-ordination with Ozone Cell (Ministry of Environment)
Ensure compliance with the Ozone Depleting Substances (Regulation and Control) Rules 2000.
Timely submission of Monthly / yearly Reports to the Ozone Cell (Ministry of Environment) Compliance Responsibilities - Consent Management (CTO)
Co-ordination with respective stakeholders of Pollution Control Boards at Regional & Central Level
Ensure timely applying of Consent to Establish (CTE) for the new products
Ensure timely renewal of Consent to Operate (CTO
Ensure compliance with conditions specified in consents with respective Pollution Control Boards of Rajasthan Goa & Gujarat. Obtain Hazardous Waste Authorization from SPCB.
Regular Audit of Plants to ensure all the compliances and timely submission of the CTE / CTO compliance Reports to RO & HO Pollution Control Board
Co-ordination with Central Pollution Control Board regarding different approvals
Co-ordination and representation with Associate Chambers (Gurgaon Chambers CII and other Associations)
CGWA (Central Ground Water Authority)
Co-ordination with Ministry of Jal Shakti and CGWA authorities
Obtaining NOC from CGWA
Manage compliance & audit related queries with regards to CGWA Environmental Clearance (EC)
Co-ordination with concerned stake holders with Environment Ministry and Consultants Obtain Environmental Clearance for new projects or expansion of existing plants wherever applicable.
Ensure compliance with conditions stipulated in EC.
Submit six-monthly EC compliance reports to regulatory authorities.
Maintain documentation for environmental monitoring and mitigation measures Compliance Responsibilities PESO (Petroleum & Explosives Safety Organisation)
Co-ordination with PESO Officials
Obtain and maintain PESO licenses for storage and handling of petroleum products solvents and hazardous chemicals.
Ensure timely renewal of PESO licenses for storage tanks installations and facilities.
Manage approvals for new installations storage tanks and modifications.
Oversee labour law compliance across all plants.
Ensure compliance for contract labour management and statutory filings.
Handle industrial relations compliance and legal notices if any. Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS)
Co-ordination with BIS / Ministry of Consumer Affairs stakeholders
To ensure timely ISO Standard Renewals for all the Plants
To ensure timely ISO Standard compliances on Manak Portal
Manage Audit & Inspection related to Product Registration with BIS Legal Metrology Department
Co-ordination with the concerned Ministry (Department of Consumer Affairs)
Obtain and maintain Legal Metrology registrations for the Plants
Ensure timely renewal of the registrations
Coordinate with State Legal Metrology Departments for inspections verifications and stamping of weighing and measuring instruments used in manufacturing and packaging operations. Regulatory & Government Inspections
Handle inspections from: o Labour Department o Pollution Control Board o Factory Inspectorate o Fire Department o Agriculture Department o Local Police Stations BSF Authorities o Other Government Departments
Co-ordinate with Legal Team and ensure timely response to notices and non-compliance observations
Skills & Competencies Required: Strong understanding of industrial environmental labour and chemical safety regulations Excellent coordination follow-up and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting ability Proactive risk-oriented and solution-driven approach Good communication and presentation skills Academic & Professional Qualifications: Law Graduate / Company Secretary / MBA / Postgraduate (preferred).
