Job Description:
At MastarRec we are seeking a detail-oriented Health Data Analyst to support healthcare clients in harnessing the power of data to improve clinical outcomes patient care and operational efficiency. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to analyse health data interpret trends and produce actionable insights in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect clean and interpret complex health-related datasets from clinical systems electronic health records (EHRs) and third-party sources.
- Develop dashboards and data visualisations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Conduct statistical analysis to support clinical decision-making and public health research.
- Collaborate with clinicians researchers and stakeholders to translate data into strategic improvements.
- Ensure data governance and patient confidentiality under GDPR and HIPAA compliance.
- Monitor performance metrics and generate regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support predictive modelling and machine learning projects to identify healthcare trends.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong SQL and Python/R skills for data querying and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).
- Knowledge of health data standards such as ICD-10 SNOMED HL7 or FHIR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and detail.
- Familiarity with GDPR HIPAA and healthcare data privacy frameworks.
Desired Skills:
- Masters degree in Public Health Biostatistics or Health Informatics.
- Experience working with NHS or private healthcare providers.
- Understanding of value-based healthcare metrics and quality reporting.
- Background in epidemiological research or clinical trials.
