Job Summary
What is the job
The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Youll be part of a collaborative team responsible for processing invoices maintaining accurate vendor records and supporting internal partners and suppliers with accounts payable questions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with details problem-solving and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly support accurate financial reporting and strong relationships across the business.
What will you be doing
- Process and verify a high volume of invoices including PO and non-PO invoices ensuring accuracy and timely approval
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies including pricing issues missing receipts and overcharges
- Maintain invoice workflows open purchase orders and vendor records to ensure clean and accurate data
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to answer questions and resolve accounts payable issues
- Support system processes including Excel invoice uploads and testing during AX system updates
About you
- You have relevant experience in accounts payable finance or an administrative role or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Youre comfortable working in Excel and handling financial data accurately; AX experience is a plus
- Youre highly detail-oriented and able to manage a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment
- You enjoy problem-solving and take initiative to research and resolve discrepancies
- You communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external vendors
