Job Summary

Our globally recognized pharmaceutical manufacturing partner is in search of a Supply Chain Manager to join their management team in Hungary. The new leader will not only manage and develop the local supply chain team but also head up the local expansion and change initiatives on the site and get actively involved in global supply chain projects.

Main responsibilities:

Ensure all local supply chain processes function according to the yearly supply chain strategic plans:
Collaborate with the local production and global supply chain teams to secure product quality value and availability
Make sure that supply chain activities do comply with GMP regulations local SOPs and HSE protocols
Oversee develop and optimize local supply chain processes way of work and the team
Track the supply chain budget according to the financial target
Manage on site audits and inspections
Actively participate in global supply chain projects: bring new ideas implement actions on local level
Leadership:
- Train and develop the supply chain team/functions such as: production planning indirect procurement warehousing supply chain planning packaging
- Set and track: goals objectives and KPIs for supply chain activities and the team
- Provide effective feedback and individually coach the skills
- Talent management

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in Economics/Engineering
Supply Chain/Logistics experience at a multinational manufacturing company in the following industries: pharma chemicals food and beverages oil and gas biotech
Proven track record in efficiently managing teams/direct reports - excellent leadership skills
Experience in successfully leading internal/external Warehouses and/or automatization projects
Strategic mind-set great communication skills collaborative attitude
Fluency in English and Hungarian
Willingness to work / relocate to Pest county
