TheClinic Volunteerplays a vital role in planning and leading a variety of engaging activities tailored to the needs of children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other learning and developmental delays. TheClinic Volunteerwill help create a safe organized and positive camp environment that encourages teamwork creativity and skill development while accommodating behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee diverse daily activities creating an engaging and supportive atmosphere
Aid in picking activities motivating teamparticipationand imaginative thinking.
Proactively encourage positive behavior and teamwork addressing behavioral challenges as needed.
Maintain a clean organized and safe activity environment at all times.
Complete incident reports in Microsoft Teams within 24 hours as per regional requirements.
Provide professional positive and respectful communication updatesregardingbehavior to caregivers
Qualifications:
We encourage current university students pursuing careers in Occupational Therapy Speech-Language PathologyBehaviourAnalysisEducation Early ChildhoodDevelopmentor Psychology.
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening and legally authorized to work in Canada
Experience in program coordinationrecreationally-centeredor community-based work is an asset.
Experience working with a group of children with diverse needs is an asset.
