Brand Education and Activation 50%
- Embodiment of Heritage: Become the definitive source of knowledge on the history craftsmanship terroir and blending artistry of Martell Cognac and the featured Champagne houses. Articulate this narrative compellingly to trade and consumers.
- Luxury Experience Curation: Design and host immersive sensorial tasting sessions masterclasses and mentoring programs for top-tier trade partners (sommeliers mixologists chefs F&B managers) and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) elevating brand perception and advocacy.
- Content & Tool Development: Collaborate with the Brand Team to develop sophisticated brand assets including detailed tasting notes food pairing guides (with a focus on modern and local Cantonese/European cuisines) and innovative serving rituals that redefine the cognac and champagne experience.
- Influencer & KOL Strategy: Identify recruit and cultivate deep relationships with a network of key opinion leaders sommeliers chefs and luxury lifestyle influencers. Convert them into genuine brand advocates through personalized education and exclusive experiences.
- Market Intelligence: Act as the eyes and ears in the market. Provide strategic insights on emerging luxury consumption trends competitor activities and new opportunities within gastronomy and mixology with a dedicated focus on the evolving cognac scene.
2. Business Development 50%
- Gastronomy & Luxury Channel Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a focused strategy to deepen our footprint in Michelin-starred restaurants 5-star hotel bars exclusive members clubs and premium wine retailers. This is a core function of the role especially for Martell.
- Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations: Proactively identify and secure high-impact collaboration opportunities. This includes co-branding events with luxury brands and sponsorships of prestigious events
- Commercial Enablement: Work in lockstep with the Commercial and Sales teams to support the listing of our brands in targeted new outlets ensure flawless execution of brand standards in key accounts and provide the expert knowledge needed to achieve sales goals.
- Share of Voice & Presence: Grow the brands presence and prestige within a core set of influential accounts ensuring leadership in menu placements staff recommendations and overall brand visibility.
- Prestige Activation Pipeline: Build a calendar of sought-after events and activations that generate buzz press coverage and direct engagement with our target audience positioning Pernod Ricard at the heart of luxury culture in Hong Kong and Macau
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in marketing business or related field
- At least 3 years work experience in luxury wine & spirits
- Ability to work independently and plan time/activities to meet set goals (KPIs)
- PR/media savvy
- Training/public speaking/presenting skills
- Ability to design presentations using PowerPoint Excel etc.
- Willingness to travel if requested
- Willingness to work nontraditional late night hours as required
