As a Live-In Carer you will support clients with daily living promote independence and help them remain safe comfortable and happy at home. This role is ideal for someone with experience in home care domiciliary care assisted living or nursing environments who is passionate about making a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing dressing grooming and continence care
- Support mobility transfers and safe movement within the home
- Prepare meals and support with nutrition and hydration
- Support with medication in line with care plans and training
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Encourage social interaction and meaningful activities
- Assist clients with dementia or Alzheimers using person-centred approaches
- Carry out light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean home
- Monitor wellbeing and report any changes to the care team
- Maintain accurate care records
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience in care home care senior care or nursing (preferred but not essential)
- A kind patient and compassionate nature
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of first aid and emergency procedures (training provided)
- Relevant training or qualifications (e.g. dementia care) is an advantage
- A UK driving license is beneficial but not essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Working Pattern: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

- 35p per mile for business mileage
