In this dynamic role you will work as acommercial and technical expert supporting Customers to provide solutions and develop opportunities to meetour companys sales growth goals.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The Account manager will be providing ongoing support to our customer portfolio by consulting with customers to understand their needs and provide the ultimate customer experience by implementing the full Coromant offer. You will be accountable for ensuring that the development strategy aligns with the local business plan and is strengthening our market share. The Sales Engineer will fulfilland deliverexpertise in relevant technical products and application solutions to Customers within the assigned territory. You will beresponsible for ensuring Sandvik Coromant products are correctly implemented and deployed competitor conversionsare minimizedandhelpcustomersrecognizethevalue of utilizing Sandvik Coromant tools and technology.
Sales Territory Management
Manages customer requests and business issues within a complex and global matrix organization serving as a liaison between customers and company departments
Builds strong customer relationships and secures customer commitment and service excellence through customers pain points knowledge
Supports Sales Management team by providing accurate forecasts budgets and targets
Ensures high quality and latest updates of data and information including case management detailed Account Plans Customer Value Plans and sales activities in CRM (Dynamics) within assigned customer portfolio
Develops local business plans to ensure market share increases/key productfocuswithin the sales department are achieved in line with financial targets and KPIs
Executes global and local pricing strategies within all sales activities
Ensures pre-meeting plans and preparations with customers to secure efficient negotiation results
Maintains existing market shares and hunts for new business opportunities
Promotes the competitive advantage of Sandvik Coromant products and advanced solutions highlighting differentiating advantages the companys Total Value Chain Offer
Technical Competence
Executes delivery of technical solutionsand sales support to end-customers and distributors to grow share of wallet within territory and customer base
Recommends products and services that fit well with customers business needs
Troubleshoots investigates and resolves technical problems that arise
Deliverstraining to educate external partners and customers onnew productreleases and features
Documents applied products and services performance and cost savings results using Productivity Analyzer software
Performs mathematical calculations applicable to product applications and sales statistics

Builds effective working relationships with end customers and distributors to secure projects and opportunities to grow sales
Ambassador for driving new ways of working and future technology withinfield ofexpertiseto ensure customers needs are fulfilled and profitable business is gained
Accountable to ensure successful opportunities are qualified and the appropriate products are applied in a first-class manner to maximize Sandvik Coromants market share and profitable business
Listens to customers technical experts and sales project teams to understand underlying needs and ensure suitable tooling solutions are delivered to secure profitable business for Sandvik Coromant
Leads customer projects from start to finish while coordinating with all internal stakeholders partners and customers
Takes responsibility and control for the high-quality performance of the job duties
Applies a structuredand organizedbusiness orientated approach to daily work using the digital tools within Office 365
Displays broad technical knowledge of metal cutting tools knowledge and application experience
Consistently improves knowledge of the Sandvik Coromant Offer and quality of production new tools and technologies to increase professional development
Regularly attends sales and product trainings both independently and as defined by the company
Your profile
Five or more years experience in sales management with engineering cutting tools experience and technical knowledge
Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or related field
Proven track record in delivering good business results
Strong execution capabilities able to create synergy collaborate and gain commitment
Experience managing external and internal customer relationships in accordance with commercial and technical terms and conditions
Relevant experience from CAD/CAM and application knowledge is an advantage
Project management knowledge is an advantage
Skilled communicator presenter and negotiator in the English language verbally and in writing
Must possess a current drivers license valid for his/her state of primary residence
