You will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and customer focused cleaning services across the facility. Your primary cleaning focus will be the residents rooms and living areas maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Clean within our residential units including the residents rooms/bathrooms/living/dining and communal areas
Sweeping vacuuming mopping scrubbing and steam cleaning of floors detail dusting glass cleaning and kitchen cleaning ensuring compliance with Infection Control and Food Safety standards
Assist in the ongoingtidiness of all public areas and patient rooms including linen replacement
Transport and move equipment and stock across the facility as required
From time to time you will also be required to support the Housekeeper and Food Services teams in the delivery of food services and laundry duties
Classifications for this position will range from IN18 - IN19 ($48145 - $53508 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
Previous experience in cleaning(commercial or aged care setting)
Food Handlers Certificate HLTFSE001 (or willing to complete)
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a hospital or residential facility is highly desirable
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain

About Berengarra
Berengarra a new multi storey 90 bed state of the art residential aged care facility comprises 60 mainstream and 30 Aged Persons Mental Health (APMH) beds designed to deliver contemporary best practice person centred care. Berengarra compliments a suite of existing St Vincents Hospital Melbournes residential facilities.
