About the role
ARRCS are committed to the Alice Springs Region and have the following vacancies across our services from May 2026 opportunities of 1 - 4 years.
Old Timers & Flynn Lodge
Hospitality Workers Aged Care - 04 x Full Time positions
($29.53 per hour base rate penalties super) per ARRCS Enterprise Agreement 2023
Hetti Perkins Home for the Aged
Hospitality Workers Aged Care - 06 x Full Time positions
($29.53 per hour base rate penalties super) per ARRCS Enterprise Agreement 2023
Providing support in our facility services area these positions include Cleaning / Laundry / Kitchen assistant duties. Great variety in the day to day job role working across the facility.
Skills & experience
To be considered for this role the ability to demonstrate the below is preferred not essential;
Experience working in a kitchen environment where you have helped cooks prepare for meals and aware of HACCAP storage legislation be willing to Obtain
Food Handler Course SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety be willing to Obtain
Comfortable to support kitchen operations which also includes cleaning of all dishes
Ability to commit to rostered shifts and understanding of the impact on our elderly residents when allocated shifts are not completed
Comfortable to support operations in rotating rosters
Comfortable to support operations with other hospitality shifts when required which will include cleaning and laundry
Ability to work well independently as well as with other team members
A commitment to genuine friendly customer service
A motivated enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude
To work in our industry you must have/be willing to obtain the following;
Current National Police Check (dated within 3 Months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Annual Influenza vaccination
First Aid Certificate
Availability to work across a 24/7 Roster to meet operational needs
NT Drivers License
