The Director Private Equity (PE) Sales works in a revenue-generating capacity within the North Americas sales organization. Their primary remit involves working with assigned Private Equity firms to generate new business demand and close net-new logo sales. They will serve as the primary point of contact for the PE firms they support ensuring the firms portfolio companies are aware of the IFS mid-marketing offerings and have access to IFS resources necessary for creating a consistent Moment of Service across the PEs portfolio.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Meet or exceed revenue and demand generation targets
- Develop strategic account and portfolio plans in partnership with account teams utilizing data analytics solution knowledge industry and technical insights
- Conduct proactive meetings to develop trusted advisor status build loyalty and improve business
- Bring competitive and industry insights and sales expertise to flawlessly execute on targeted sales opportunities
- Exceed customer expectations providing timely answer to queries insights marketplace knowledge and resolving technical issues
- Develop collaborative relationship with account team and drive the growth and development of mutually beneficial working relationships with account team and key partners
- Utilize internal relationships to provide seamless account management a united front to customers and ultimately enable the ability to quickly answer customer requests or escalations
- Direct account conversations with key internal partners to evaluate account performance develop short and long-term strategies and discuss/act upon optimization opportunities
- Maintain functional knowledge of new features products and initiatives across the platform and ecosystem
Qualifications :
To be successful in the role you will likely have:
- Previously worked and have proven sales success in a B-to-B enterprise software environment
- Tertiary education in Business Computer Science Engineering Accounting or equivalent
- A strong appreciation of both enterprise software sales and how private equity works with mid-market manufacturing companies
- Ability to build relationships at executive levels
- Proven ability to multitask & work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management problem-solving and analytical skills to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Previous exceptional performance high productivity and meeting deadlines
- Strong organization skills attention to detail and creativity
- A self-starter strong work ethic with personal initiative and drive
- Ability to work independently without supervision and collaboratively with teams
