Job Summary
Lab Technician
Location: West Chester OH 45069
Industry Lab Diagnostic Partners LLC is a clinical reference laboratory offering a range of specialty tests to clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lab Technician to join our team in West Chester OH. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills professionalism with clients and coworkers and be open to learning and training on new methods and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform LC/MS sample processing including toxicology screening and preparing specimens for LC/MS analysis.
- Review calibration curves QC data and confirmation data for patient specimens.
- Molecular specimen testing for PCR.
- Review patient results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and release results.
- Perform quality control procedures including analysis of Levy-Jennings charts.
- Document all QA/QC performed including lot to lot comparison of all reagents controls and calibrators.
- Maintain all lab reagents according to manufacturers requirements.
- Maintain proper continuing education and competency requirements.
- Perform and document maintenance on all instruments.
- Lab cleaning and maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Biology Chemistry Biochemistry or Science
Preferred:
- 2 years of relevant experience in a diagnostic lab (Molecular or Toxicology)
- Microbiology experience
