SALARY:$52120.28-$96745.03 (DOE) prorated based upon FTE and start date.
A stipend of $8339.24 (prorated based upon FTE and start date) and District sponsored licensure and attendance to OSHA provided.
Insurance:Generous Health dental and vision contribution from the district currently up to $2277 (based upon family coverage).
PERS Retirement:The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.
SCHEDULE: 190 Days(prorated based upon start date); 1 day per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of an approved speech pathology program.
- Oregon teachers license with speech language impaired endorsement and acquire Oregon Health Board of Examiners speech pathology license or.
- Oregon Health Board of Examiners speech pathology license.
Prefer American Speech and Hearing Association Certificate Clinical Competence.
Complete all district required hiring processes and trainings.
Obtain Registration with the Central Background Registry.
REPORTS TO:Special Services Director
General Description:
Evaluate and diagnose students with communication disorders and prescribe appropriate interventions and modifications.
Participate in the development of Individualized Family Service Plans.
Communicate with parents in conferences virtually by telephone and in writing.
Provide direct and consultative service to eligible students with communication disorders.
Collaborate with staff in designing classroom modifications and supports.
Complete all record-keeping responsibilities including Medicaid billing in a timely manner.
Direct selected staff development activities related to children with communication disorders.
Supervision of on-staff SLPAs.
Actively participate in program professional development and program improvement conversations.
Provide communication-related consultation to community preschool staff.
Provide communication-related professional development to community preschools.
CFY supervision available.
