Project/Program:Special Projects and Quality Analytics Office of Sexual Health and Epidemiology
Job Description:
Contractor is responsible for assessment of STI surveillance data and partner services outcomes.
Day to Day:
Funding will support a contractor who will analyze and evaluate STI registries (including STI and HIV matched registries) prepare analytic datasets for evaluation purposes conduct analysis of routine match results develop innovative programming to map partner networks respond to data requests and prepare reports and maps summarizing the epidemiology of STI mono infected and STI/HIV co morbid infections. The contractor will establish templates for reporting performance metrics on integrated STI/HIV partner services outcomes in order to assure appropriate partner services outcomes; develop data to care quality assurance and outcome reports; perform quality assurance activities for surveillance and partner service data; and provide documentation including technical system documentation user help and instruction guidelines. The contractor will provide measures required for grant reporting purposes.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Programmer: Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.
Expert: 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- Advanced SAS certification for SAS v9
- 84 months of experience in using SAS R Tableau and/or other statistical and graphical software packages for data management and analysis.
- 60 months of experience programming SAS/GRAPH SAS/ODS SAS/MACROS SAS/SQL PROC SQL and PROC REPORT on a daily or weekly basis.
- 36 months of experience conducting data analysis for sexually transmitted disease surveillance programs and experience with CDESS and MIS data systems.
- 60 months of experience in the development of SAS programming code for data requests reports and analysis in a health department setting.
- A Bachelors Degree or higher in Science Statistics or Epidemiology or any related field of science. Required Experience:
