Job Description
This role is responsible for managing multisite HSO supply chain logistics functions within a region providing leadership to Strategic Operations Managers overseeing $40M in annual supply spend. This position spans across all supply chain operations functions including but not limited to: inventory management receiving distribution par management laundered linen services performance improvement and coordination with senior executives this position is responsible for developing system level KPIs and performance metrics to support BJC supply chain strategies. This position is also responsible for implementing industry best practices in inventory. Optimization and service level agreements across the BJC network.
Designs and adjusts organizational structure to support current and future business unit requirements; recruits and develops talent to support transformation projects and initiatives; builds and maintains a highly inclusive and engaged culture with a focus on optimal organizational health.
Develops and implements annual Tier 2 HSO strategies and goals for supply chain operations to ensure Tier 1 KPIs including but not limited to: service cost and cash are achieved.
Provides leadership and mentoring to >100 direct and indirect reports and oversees sustainment of BJCs vision values and mission across a 7-day schedule.
Aggressively pursues continued improvement opportunities to reduce/avoid OpEx impact across a $10M budget and achieves YOY productivity improvements to minimize volume growth and labor market impact.
Develops and implements plans and activities to drive working capital optimization across $40M of supply spend while balancing inventory and avoiding potential service impacts ensuring BJC clinicians have sustainable product availability of critical supplies to ensure patient service excellence.
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring training workload management & performance evaluations conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
5-10 years of applicable and supervisory experience required.
