Job Summary

Our client a leading global medical device company is seeking a Lean Specialist Finance to drive continuous improvement across finance operations in the EMEA region. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine financial expertise with process optimization and lean transformation within a dynamic fast-paced global environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop a deep understanding of EMEA operations and the broader global business environment.
Analyze global processes impacting finance operations including payroll fixed assets Purchase-to-Pay US GAAP and statutory accounting and tax compliance.
Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of finance and cross-functional processes.
Build and present business cases for process improvements to regional and corporate finance leadership.
Lead and execute lean-based improvement projects end-to-end.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Finance teams and their leaders across regions.
Collaborate effectively with other key functions such as IT Procurement HR Global Commercial Operations and Global Shared Services.
Manage and influence cross-functional project teams without formal authority.
Apply effective influencing and communication techniques to ensure project success and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

35 years of proven experience applying Lean methodology in a multinational environment preferably within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
Solid background in Finance or Accounting with strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes.
Demonstrated success in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions using Lean tools and principles.
Excellent knowledge of operations within large high-volume multinational organizations.
Tech-savvy mindset capable of spotting automation and digitization opportunities.
Proficiency in SAP Power BI Blackline or similar financial systems.
Exceptional analytical problem-solving and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities capable of working across departments and hierarchical levels.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); another European language is an advantage.
