WHO ARE YOU

  • 7 years of OEM automotive experience with documented results from Strategy Product Business Development Sales or Marketing.
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or similar.
  • Proven success in growing revenue within a complex sales environment.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship builder with experience collaborating at senior levels across manufacturers importers and dealers
  • Deep understanding of new car market dynamics including leasing direct sales and wholesale models.
  • Analytical & insight-driven able to use trends and data to craft compelling narratives.
  • Great storyteller and presenter skilled at simplifying complexity for diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter whos ready for change experimentation and constructive challenge.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English our company language is English whilst the communication with our customers and partners is mostly in Norwegian

The Mobility Vertical

At Vends Mobility vertical we are more than 250 motivated experts across the Nordics on a mission to empower people to make smart mobility choices for themselves and future generations. Were building a world-leading mobility ecosystem in which we collaborate closely with our partners to create value across the entire consumer journey. Our family of brands includes FINN Blocket Bytbil and DBA/Bilbasen as well as C2B auction platforms Nettbil and AutoVex.

This role will be situated in the Mobility Sales team at and reports directly to the Head of New Cars for the Mobility vertical. The Sales organisation consists of over 50 dedicated professionals across Oslo Copenhagen/Århus and Stockholm 20 of whom are based in Oslo. We value close collaboration enjoy working together both digitally and in person and make sure to create regular opportunities to meet and learn from each other.

The role

The automotive industry is undergoing substantial changes that impacts the way in which we will conduct our business going forward. The two most prominent trends acting as catalysts for our strategy are the digitization of car sales combined with manufacturers increasing importance for the car market and the electrification of the car fleet.

The Norwegian market is at the forefront of these trends meaning we need to move fast in order to future-proof our business. As a response to this transition we want to build strong relationships with manufacturers importers and branded dealers in order to collaborate on future value propositions covering various Mobility offerings.

This role will be central to that effort. As Head of OEM Business Norway you will lead our national OEM strategy and be the primary driver of relationship-building and innovation within the new-car ecosystem.

Your responsibilities will be

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with OEMs importers/NSCs and captive finance houses.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on both client value and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Sales Tech and Strategy to develop and implement a compelling OEM value proposition aligned with the broader Mobility vision.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturers supporting them in solving business challenges and maximising value from FINNs marketplaces.
  • Educate partners on how to leverage FINNs role in the car-buyer journey including advertising and audience reach.
  • Use data and storytelling to update internal and external stakeholders on key trends and market dynamics.
