Description

We have an openingfor a bilingual (English/Norwegian)part-time/contract career coach based in Sandefjord Norwayto support our relocation solutions. We support employees and their spouses/families as they acclimate to new citiesand assist spouses/partners with finding employment/career opportunities in the new area.

TheCoach works in a 1:1 capacity with employees of our client companies who are relocating by usingIMPACT Groups technology and coaching methodology. The coachalso supports the spouse or partner of the relocating employee with job search support.

This isa part time contract and telecommuting position approximately 10hours per month.

  • Establishes rapport with participantsand motivates them to achieve goals.
  • Guides participantsthrough coaching process and milestone completion.
  • Advises and coaches on career development transition and cross culturalissues and career options.
  • Coacheson CV/résumé writing effective marketing techniques interviewing and negotiating.
  • Maintains electronic service delivery record for each participantserviced according to the internal guidelines.
  • Monitors progress of participants consults with them on specific subjects to improve their job search skills and knowledge and deals with personal issues that are affecting their careers and integrating into the new area.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years experience coaching others in job search:resume development interview preparation career exploration LinkedIn profiles and other aspects of job search coaching.
  • Experience working with expatriates on job searches in Norway.
  • Very strong verbal / written communication skills (bilingual--English & Norwegianrequired) additional languages a plus.
  • Able to analyze and appropriately address transitional and cross cultural needs.
  • Ability to engage and foster positive relationships with participants..
  • Understanding of business and cultural practices within Norwayand surrounding areas.
  • Currently lives and/or works in Norway preferably the Sandefjord area.
  • High-speed internet connection on a personal computer; headset with a microphone will be required (remote work).
  • Experience working withjob seekers of various professions and levels.
  • Experience working with international job seekers includingcareer continuation scenarios.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Masters degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior business or related field preferred.
  • Coaching certificate or training.
  • Familiarity with Zoom & MS Teams.
  • Has personally relocated to a different country.
  • Fluently speaks both languagesEnglish/Norwegian. Additional language also a plus.
